He was predeceased by : his parents, Glen Cox and Lillian Manley Cox; and his brother-in-law David Fox. He is survived by : his pet Maggie; his wife Peggy Steele Cox; his children, Cory, Savannah Steele, Carrie Steele, Cathy Connell, Carl and Erin Steele; his grandchildren, Thomas, Nathan, Jack, Carson and Asher; his sister Nancy Fox; and his nieces and nephews, Robin (Chris Greene), Shanda (Todd Wheeler), Ivie (Davie Brock) and Matt (Laura Fox).

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to, First Baptist Church of Griffin or Mt. Zion United Methodist campground.

I have followed Ronnie's life even though we lived in different cities since our college graduation at the University of Georgia. I will always remember his kind and generous traits: honesty, smart, humorous, dependable, loving husband, father, and friend. Ronnie truly loved and worshipped our Lord, his family, and his work.
