He was predeceased by: his parents, Grigue Grant and Jewell Peeples Grant; his wife Ann Holcomb; his granddaughter Deborah Grant Corley; and his siblings, Mamie Lee Hall, Junior Grant, Pete Grant, Doris Hamlett, William Grant and Ruby Bunn.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Grant and Karen Hayes (Ken); his grandchildren, Rebecca Wood (Russ), Nico Hayes and Lauren Hayes; his great grandchild Kendra Truitt; and his sisters, Odell Stallings and Orell McEachern. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
