He was predeceased by: his mother Sameria Gay Duzan Avery. He is survived by: his wife Shana Wells Avery; his children, Scott, Sierra Avery of Thomaston, Jacob Huffman of Hampton and Stanley Avery of Griffin; his sibling's children, Mackenzie, Nick, Eli and Emily Huffman of Warner Robins; and his friend Tony Cheely.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Salem Baptist Church (57 Bicycle Rd, Griffin, GA 30223).
