It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terry Lamar Cox Sr. of Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Terry Lamar leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Terry Lamar may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father Donald Ray Cox Sr.; and his brother Tony Richard Cox. He is survived by: his mother Mary Feltman Mote; his children, Terry Cox Jr. (Michelle), Chrystle (Scott Hilder) and Tessa Cox; his grandchildren, Ember Hilder and Yevon Hilder; his brother Don; his sister-in-law Betsy Cox; and his sister Janet Mask. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Haisten McCullough Funeral Home (1155 Everee Inn Rd, Griffin, GA 30224). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
