He was predeceased by: his parents, James Andrew and Jewell O'Neal Nation; his wife Mary Ann Banks Nation; his son Jon Wayne Nation; his brother Billy Derel Nation, Sr.; his sisters-in-law, JoAnn Nation and Ella Mae Nation; and his nephews, Charles Alan Nation and James Edward Nation.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan (Carol Nation) and Anita Nation; his grandchildren, Tammy Parham Nall (Chris), Paul Nation (Amy), Ashley Nation Fisher (John) and Amanda Parham Carr (Don); his brother Larry Nation; and his sisters-in-law, Kathleen MacMahon and Inez Hefner. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
