William Catlett Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Catlett of Griffin, Georgia, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. "Jack" Catlett and Edna Newsome Catlett; and his cousins, G. A. "Bo" Newsome and Steve Ivey. He is survived by: his wife Terry Warren Catlett; his son Brent Turk (Chelsea); his grandsons, Wyatt and Lucas Turk; his brother Jimmy Catlett (Myrt); his cousins, Kathy Talley, Joy Denton, Melinda Ivey, Melissa Newsome, Judy Newsome and Candy Ford; and his grandchildren, Lonnie and Terry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wilson Funeral Homes - Chickamauga Chapel (215 Lee Ave, Chickamauga, GA 30707). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
