He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Dawson; his daughters, Chanel Burden and Chasity Foster (Christopher Foster); his grandchildren, Chauncey Burden Foster, Trent Foster, Jaden Foster, Makaelis Foster, Selah Foster and Evie Foster; his sisters, Evita Dawson and Sharon Dawson McElveen (Victor McElveen); his aunts, Regina McClain (Glenn McClain) and Mary Hines; and his uncle Clarence Butler (Teresa Butler). He is also survived by many cousins, relatives, friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Quest Church (5001 Gateway Blvd, Grovetown, GA 30813). A burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Aiken Memorial Gardens (1523 Edgefield Hwy, Aiken, SC 29801).
