He was predeceased by: his parents, H. L. Ballinger and Bargie Ballinger. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Ballinger; his children, Matt Ballinger (Kristen) and Christie Amerson (Mitchell); his grandchildren, Lincoln and Magnolia Amerson; his sister Lisa Campbell (Buck); and his mother-in-law Wilma Coil. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors (214 Davis Rd, Augusta, GA 30907). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Abilene Baptist Church (3917 Washington Rd, Martinez, GA 30907). A burial will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Abilene Baptist Church Cemetery (3917 Washington Rd, Martinez, GA 30907).
