He is survived by : his wife Lesbia Tate; his children, Bernard Keller, Jorge Camacho, Joshua Tate, Joe Eddie Tate III, Anthony McGee and Jamel Reeves; and his sister Frenchie Taylor. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
