He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Fitzgerald; his daughter Debbie Fitzgerald; and his brother Jack Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Fitzgerald (Diane), Ann Weaver, Karen McCorkle and Sharon Sankey; his sister Martha Ann Brown; and his grandchildren, Kelvin Prickett, Kimberly McCorkle, Richard McCorkle, Kala Morris and Crystal Fogarty. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Heart Association in Joe's memory.
