He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Washburn and Edith Washburn; and his son Steve Washburn. He is survived by: his wife Helga Eller; his sons, Allen and Jeff Washburn; his stepchildren, Michael Eller and Dana Niehus (Chris); and his sisters, Norma Burns, Brenda Durden and Bonita Schultz. He is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
