She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Bennett, Sr. and Irene Crosby Bennett. She is survived by: her son Marshall Glen Polk of Guyton, Georgia; her sister Salle B. Bowers of Pooler, Georgia; her granddaughter Megan Polk; and her great grandchildren, Chole and Cami. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Brice Herndon Funeral Home - Walterboro Chapel (1193 Bells Hwy, Walterboro, SC 29488). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
