He is survived by: his wife Carol Diane Pyles; his children, Daniel Lawson Pyles Jr. (Beth Woodard) and Loye Grimsley Pyles (Chelsea Pyles); his siblings, Doris Wotring (Charles), Truman Lee Pyles (Wanda), Roger A. Pyles, Marvin Eugene Pyles (Song), Patrick Pyles (Patricia) and Richard Paul Pyles; his nephews, Bob Pyles, Jeff Pyles and Dave Wotring; and his adoptive sons, Justin Wiggins, Ryan Etzel and Ronald Stephens.
