She was predeceased by: her parents, Buena Pete Durden and John Henry Stevenson; her husband William Patrick Portner; her brother Buford Wayne Glover; and her niece Electra Laverne Glover.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jimmy Glover (AJ) of Soperton and Pamela Bunch (Miles) of Springfield; her children, Carrie Miller (Corey Crump) of Rincon, Jan Rhett (Elijah) of Springfield and Sateava Joyner (Jamie Aguilar) of Springfield; and her grandchildren, Anthony English of Savannah, Jawanna Rhett of Springfield, Herbert Stevenson of Savannah, Dalante Stevenson of Rincon, Elijah Rhett (Kimberly Sheppard) of Rincon, Donna Rhett of Springfield, Dayshan Miller of Rincon and Linda Green of Savannah. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home (1979 GA-119, Guyton, GA 31312).
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made towards Ms. Donna's services.
