He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Duncan Ramsey; his parents, Ola Dixon Way and Earl Way Sr.; his siblings, Wanda Way and Earl Way Jr.; and his son-in-law David Brantley Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Heather Brantley, Meckey Sellars (Thomas) and Freddy Letterman (Jessica); his grandchildren, David Brantley Jr. (Tiffany), Michael Brantley (Gabbi), Sean Brantley (Maia), Jonathan Brantley (Brooke), Paul Brantley, Elizabeth Lang, Stephanie Davis, Brandon Davis, Lee Letterman, Peyton Letterman and London Letterman; his great grandchildren, David III of Charlotte, SJ, Henry, Ellie, Maggie Brantley, Khristian, Elijah and Rayon Jorge; and his siblings, Judy Mock (Isaac), Douglas Ramsey (Debbie) and Angela Way. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flanders Powell Funeral Home & Crematory (197 S College St, Pembroke, GA 31321). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sand Hill Baptist Church (1936 Sand Hill Rd, Guyton, GA 31312).
