He was predeceased by: his wife Frances June Mason; his children, Deborah June Mason and Timothy "Timmy" Wayne Mason; and his brother Holbrook Mason (Judy). He is survived by: his son Samuel L. Reynolds, Jr. (Sandra); his grandchildren, Brandy Morgan, Daniel Morgan (Marie), Kristi Beard (Jeremy), Jennifer Formby (Noah) and Courtney Brown (Samuel); his nieces, Susan Robertson (Doug) and Laurie Wolfe (Michael); and his nephew Barry Mason (Kristen). He is also survived by great-grandchildren; a number of great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 7th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Gateway Church (1702 Pine Barren Rd, Bloomingdale, GA 31302).
