With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Seckinger Jr. of Guyton, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on October 3, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Seckinger and Mary Seckinger; his mother-in-law Margaret Zipperer; and his brother-in-law Zipperer. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his sister Joyce Ann; his brother-in-law Jerry Grimes; his children, Kristin, Brooks and Blake; and his cousins, Justin, Crystal, Addison, Megan, Brian, Beckham, Benson, Derrick, April, Layla, Koleman, Kyler, Cathy, John, Connor, Emmeline, Freddy, Paulette, Janie and Richard. He is also survived by loving extended family, including nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Chatham Chapel (901 US-80, Pooler, GA 31322). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Port Wentworth Methodist Church (201 Turnberry St, Port Wentworth, GA 31407).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Garden City, Georgia, in Marty's memory.
