Mother leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mother’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mother will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Thelma R. Goldwire (Georgia); and her children, Rubin Goldwire, Jr. (Gracie), Rev. John A. Goldwire, Sr. (Eva), Dr. Franklin Goldwire, Sr. (Cheryl), Ruth N. Goldwire, Floresa G. Grimes, Joe Nathan Goldwire (Wanda), Dorothy Davis (Carl) and Kelvin A. Goldwire.

Viewing was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smalls Funeral Home, INC Chapel (203 Samuel Smalls Sr Ave, Guyton, GA 31312). Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Missionary Bapt Church (122 2nd St, Clyo, GA 31303). A burial was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at the Union Spring Cemetery (950 Union Springs Rd, Springfield, GA 31329).
