It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Oetgen of Guyton, Georgia, born in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on June 15, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest J. Oetgen, Sr. and Katherine Mays; and his siblings, Ernest J. Oetgen, Jr., Frank E. Oetgen and Katherine Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Gary (Tracy), Eric and Kelley Jeffries; his stepson Hunter Bagwell (Ann); his grandchildren, Graham, Ella, Elizabeth, William Oetgen, Makenzie Jeffries, Parker, Connor, Trevor and Samantha Bagwell of Indiana; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Oetgen; his brother-in-law John T. Woods; and his caregiver Chrystal Higdon.
