He is survived by: his wife Pamela Alford; his daughters, Brandy McCarley (Charles) and Kaitlyn Hudson (Cliff); his granddaughter Kendalynn Faith Hudson; his mother Opal R. Alford; and his sister Donna Sue Norton (Gary). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
