He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Lee Jackson and Mildred Louise Frost Jackson; and his siblings, Gene Jackson, Sr., Joe Jackson, Bill Jackson, Sr., Louise Jackson Leverett, Ruby Jackson Mimbs and Ann Jackson Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Pickelsimer Jackson; his daughters, Belinda Jackson Burke (Wesley) of Guyton and Melissa Jackson Hamrick (Michael) of Boone, N. C.; his grandchildren, Erin Burke Pierson (Ronny), Ryan Timothy Burke, Travis Michael Hamrick, Jr. and Matthew Lee Hamrick; his great grandchild Millie Pierson; and his sisters, Sandra Jackson Smith and Brenda Jackson Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
