He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph James Stout Sr. and Denise Mascaro Stout; and his grandparents, Joseph Cecil Stoot, Edna Robin Stoot, Virginia Rister Mascaro and Lawrence Mascaro.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Joseph Stout Jr. (Taylor) and Bryce Edward Stout; his siblings, Sherri Stout Faamuli (Paul), Pamela Dussor (Chris), Stephanie Wheelock (Tom) and Joseph James Stout Jr. (Joan); his godparents, Charles Mascaro (Bubby) and Karen Mascaro; and his friend Martin Pierce.
