He was predeceased by: his parents, C. W. Clayton, Jr. and Goldie Webb Clayton; and his brother Lamar Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Clayton; his children, Cheryl Ann Edenfield and Terrell W. Clayton, Jr.; his grandchildren, Karin Lindsay Adams (Dustin), Joshua Clayton (Lindsey), Reba Mingledorff (Bradley) and Andrew Clayton; his great grandchildren, Tanner, Silas, Jedidiah and Joseph Gunner; and his siblings, Sybil Theus and Murray Clayton.
