He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Zittrauer Crosby and J. B. Crosby, Sr.; and his siblings, Varnell Mincey, Victoria Clemmons, Rita Crosby, Louise Grovenstein, Jane Moore, Bruce Crosby, Donald Crosby and J. B. Crosby, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Jason Daniel Crosby; his stepson Barry Johnson; his sisters, Joyce Smith, Vaughn Williams (G. W.) and Reba Bishop (Charles); and his sister-in-law Robyn Crosby. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
