He is survived by: his wife Shirley Royal; his children, Rhonda Pye and David Royal (Sheri); his grandchildren, Carli Porter (Cameron), Ryan Pye (Hannah) and Alex Royal (Michaela Rahn); his great grandchildren, Emory and Grant Porter; his sister Kay Bowers; and his nephew Ronnie Royal, Jr..
