She is survived by : her sons, James Louis Simmons, Jr., Tony Jerome Simmons, Troy Bernard Simmons and Michael Craig Simmons; her siblings, Linda Curry, JoAnn Curry of Milledgeville, GA, Ruby Curry, Laverne Curry of Macon, GA, Milton Curry, Kelvin Curry of Milledgeville, GA, Willie Curry of Macon, GA, Larry Curry of Macon, GA, Mitchell Curry of Macon, GA and Walter Curry of Macon, GA; her aunts, Mattie Burnett, Helen Thomas and Beatrice Flemming; her uncle Tom Curry of Milledgeville, GA; her siblings-in-law, Helen Thomas, Jessica Curry, Mary Curry, Morgan Casey, Larry Simmons and Arthur Simmons; and her goddaughter Dorothy Allen. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
