It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otis Morgan Layfield of Haddock, Georgia, born in Milledgeville, Georgia, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Albert Layfield and Susie Mae Alford Layfield; his wife Bobbie Layfield; and his siblings, Myrtice Louise, Lillie Mae, Nora Emmie, Martha Mae, Barbara Ann, John Willis and Albert Lee.

He is survived by : his children, Greg Layfield (Elizabeth) of Haddock, Mark Layfield (LeeAnn) of Macon, Denise Layfield of Hendersonville, N. C., Kenneth Layfield (Jennie) of Gray and Glenn Layfield (Kelly) of Richmond Hill; and his stepchildren, Cindie O'Neal (Chip) of Milledgeville, Chris Prosser of Milledgeville and Kim Gheesling (Billy) of Milledgeville. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, one great grandson, several nieces and nephews.
