Gerald Spell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Spell of Hahira, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Spell and Jean Spell of Baxley; and his sister Linda Sellers. He is survived by: his wife Aleta Deal Spell of Appling County; his children, Dr. Andrew (Renee Spell), Nathaniel (Christina Spell), Grace Spell of San Antonio, TX and Amanda Dominy of Hahira; his grandchildren, Grayson Spell, Ella Grace Spell, Kaitlyn Jefferson, Isabel Dominy, Cason Spell and Naliana Spell; and his siblings, Steve Spell, Jeanette Tillman, Michelle Spell and Amy Carter. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar New Covenant Church (3531 Bemiss Rd, Valdosta, GA 31605). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Jewish Voice Ministries, via online donations at jewishvoice.org.
