She was predeceased by : her husband J. W. Hood; her parents, Judge Cranford Lehman and Vivian Gertrude Harris Lehman; and her brother George Lehman. She is survived by : her brothers, David Lehman (Myra) of Lake Park and Gary Lehman (Patricia) of Thomasville, Georgia.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Riverview Memorial Gardens (3945 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602).
