She was predeceased by: her father-in-law James Wheeler; her stepsister Melinda Rehberg; and her stepfather Kenneth Barnard. She is survived by: her parents, Jerry Lee Bennett (Glenda) of Lake Park and Dorris Sue McCollum Barnard of Lake Park; her husband Ken Wheeler of Hahira; her son Caleb Wheeler of Hahira; her brother Lee Bennett (Kelly) of Delaware; her brother-in-law Mark Wheeler (Stephanie) of Valdosta; and her mother-in-law Cheryl Wheeler of Valdosta. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in Michelle's name.
