It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myra Spelman of Hahira, Georgia, who passed away on May 29, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Joel Robert Smith and Lloyd Richard Spelman. She is survived by: her daughter Edna; her son-in-law Hal Cooper of Hahira; her son Jerry; her daughter-in-law Joy Lewis of Florida; her grandchildren, Dusty (Josh Hill), Jennifer (Kyle Tanner), John (Amber Cooper) and Niko Lewis of Florida; her great grandchildren, A. J. Hartley, Abbie Hartley, Cooper Corbitt, Coy Corbitt, Dallen Bailey, Joshua Hill and Carson Cooper; her great great grandchild Cain Belcher; and her sister Mirian Granodos Solano of Costa Rica.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Martin McLane Funeral Home (401 S Church St, Hahira, GA 31632). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
