With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steve Watts of Hahira, Georgia, who passed away on May 6, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Steve's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Steve has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rhette Wayland Watts and Leffie Clontz Watts; and his daughter Wendy Ann Watts. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Cranford Watts; his son Steve D. Watts Jr. (Nettie Rose Hatcher); his grandson Steve D. Watts, III; his granddaughter-in-law Ally Spillers Watts; his granddaughters, Anna Watts and Kaylee Watts; and his great grandchild Phillip D Watts The.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Norview Gardens (949 Pee Dee Ave, Norwood, NC 28128).
