With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Roy Hansel Sr. of Hahira, Georgia, who passed away on August 5, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur T. Hansel Sr. and Virginia Agnes Hansel; his wife Vilia Hansel; his daughter Anna Hansel; and his sister Patty Hansel.
He is survived by: his son Billy Hansel Jr. (Chasity M. Hansel) of Valdosta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Brandon Hansel of Colorado and Megan Leanna Hansel Childs (Peyton) of Hahira, Georgia; his great great grandchildren, Brixxon Hansel, Rayleigh Childs and Addilyn Childs; his sibling's children, Joann Lorenz of Antioch, Tennessee and Edward Lorenz of Antioch, Tennessee; his brother Butch Hansel (Sally) of Pittsburg, PA.; and his sister-in-law Usa Lorenz (James Lorenz) of Antioch.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 10:50 AM at the Music Funeral Services - Valdosta (3831 N Valdosta Rd, Valdosta, GA 31602).
