It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory Garrett Cathey (Hamilton, Georgia), who passed away on October 15, 2025, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Gregory shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gregory farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his mother Rebecca Ann Crew (Crew). He is survived by: his father Gregory Bob Cathey; his stepmother Joyce; and his siblings, Richard Barfield (Caroline), Niki Barfield, Lindsay Cathey (Mike), Wren Dickens (Dan) and Chris Scrivner (Stephanie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
