He was predeceased by: his parents, B. C. Riley and Marjorie Mays Riley; his children, Kim Riley and Allen Nelson; and his sister Sonia Wallace.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Mitchell Riley; his children, Cindy Allen (George), Beth Alo, Chris Riley (Thomas Johnston), Rebecca Brown (Larry) and Jeff Riley (Melinda); his grandchildren, David, Brent, Sarah, Jake, Taylor, Christopher, Austin, Ian, Nicholas, Gracie, Juliana, Parker and Claire; and his brother Joseph Carlton Riley (Sue). He is also survived by his 12 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made in David's name to Raintree Village Children's Home or to the Christian Assistance Foundation.
