She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Newland (Bob) and Donie Newland; and her husband Jerry Benton (Ronnie Smith). She is survived by: her siblings, Jana Newland and Robbie Newland (Patty); her nephew Will Newland (Chiara); and her niece Ivy Spruill (Austyn).
