He is survived by: his children, Brandon Lee Dean (Martha Grace Sapp) of Juliette, GA. and Alexia Celeste "Lexi" Dean (Ryan Andrew Field) of Raleigh, NC; his mother Elwanda Dean of Hampton; and his sisters, Jennifer Leann Madden (Thomas) of Hampton and Joni Lorraine Coln of Hampton.
