She was predeceased by: her sister Janette Braddy; her daughter-in-law Diane Hicks; and her parents, Bill Hallman and Audie Mae Lane. She is survived by: her husband Calvin Hicks; her children, Leigh Voigt (Mark Skaggs), Thomas Buffington (Reesa), Tony Hicks and Rhonda McClain (Bennie); her grandchildren, Justin, Jenna, Dakota, Jericho, Cherokee and John; and her sister-in-law Cynthia Somers. She is also survived by several other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Erlene's memory, honoring her enduring spirit and compassion for others.
