It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Edward Whaley of Hampton, Georgia, born in Sevierville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 20, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade George Whaley and Charlotte Nance Whaley; his daughter Linda Yearwood; and his sisters, Deanna Whaley and Judy Ogle.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Whaley; his children, Vickie Brewer, Michael Whaley, Sammy Whaley and Neil Whaley (Michelle); and his brother Troy Whaley. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
