We announce the death of Sandra Jean Gonzalez of Hampton, Georgia, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 53. Sandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her brother Eric McNamara; her grandparents, Bernice, Bill DePietro, Milton McNamara and Peggy Hanson; and her aunts, Maureen St. Pierre and Patricia McNamara.
She is survived by: her children, Isabella Gonzalez and Elijah Gonzalez; her parents, Norman Zimmer and Kathy Zimmer; her siblings, Heather Santiago (McNamara), Sarah Zimmer and Adam O'Donnell; the father of her children Luis Gonzalez; her fiancé Blaine Hall; her nieces and nephews, Kylen Whitlock, Luke Santiago, Hayden Barton and Avery Owens; her uncle Michael McNamara; and her aunts, Holly Lehrer, Sherri Moore and Bridgette Koivu.
In lieu of flowers and to honor her memory and devotion as s mother, the family welcomes donations to a fund set up for her children, Isabella and Elijah.
