It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Harold McLarty of Hampton, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John McLarty and Jessie Mae Jett McLarty; his wife Sadie Murphy McLarty; his sons, Thomas Harold McLarty, Jr., Steve McLarty and Dale Lee McLarty; his siblings, John A. McLarty and Clara McLarty Chipman; and his son-in-law Dee Forrester.

He is survived by : his children, Denise Forrester and David Kenneth McLarty. He is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
