She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Virgil Silver and Sallie Silver; her husband Harold Collier; her daughters, Lisa (Kim), Emory University and Kim Freemyer; and her grandchildren, Amanda (Blaine Reeher), Emily (Luke Glenn), Matt (Gretchen Freemyer), Harrison (Maddie Freemyer) and Caroline (Andrew McLendon).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
