She was predeceased by: her husband Talmadge Gay; her parents, Doc Gay and Beatrice Barnette; her daughter Gwen Chalker; and her siblings, Donna Paris, Gary Stribling and Debra Merker.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Neal (Jeff); her grandchildren, Garrett Neal, Augusta and Chris Kelley (Adam Kelley); her brother Ricky Cryder (Denise); her cousins, Herman Gay, Joe Gay (Judy) and Pete Allen (Edith); her aunts, Mel Rourke (Randy) and Pat Bowick; and her friends, Lynn Maxwell and Ellen Gay. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of Flowers, the family request that. Donations be made to the Silver Run Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
