With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frances Pirkle Benson of Hartsfield, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 3, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Usry Pirkle and Lida Westbrook Pirkle; and her sister Ada Elizabeth Pirkle Spruill. She is survived by: her daughter Jackie Batson; her granddaughter Jordan English (Will); her great grandchild June Frances English; her sibling's children, Robert Spruill (Brooke), Carol Lawrence (Shannon) and Abby Tippens (Cliff); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Charlie Spruill, Emma Lawrence, Wyatt Spruill, Ben Spruill, John Tippens, Clay Lawrence, Andrea Spruill, Hoyt Lawrence, Carter Tippens, Samuel Tippens and Zeke Lawrence; and her brother-in-law Jack Spruill. She is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
Flowers are being accepted or memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Colquitt Christian Academy.
