She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther A. Brown and Ruby Nell Weaver Brown; and her sister Helen Teasley. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Scott; her children, Stephanie McCollum (Mike) of Belton, SC, Mark Scott (Amanda) of Suwanee, GA and Alan Scott (Kelly) of Hartwell; and her brother Billy Brown of Hartwell. She is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell (305 Cleveland Ave, Hartwell, GA 30643).
