He was predeceased by: his father Bryson Brown; and his brother Arthur Broome. He is survived by: his mother Fannie Ruth Broome; his son Billy Scooter Broome, Jr.; his stepdaughter Cathy Robertson; and his siblings, Sarah Broome, James Broome, Roy Broome and Betty Broome.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors (333 E Johnson St, Hartwell, GA 30643). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
