She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Willis and Willie Jean Mattox Willis (Cedrick Gee); her children, Jennifer Gaines, Antwung Willis, Shannon Willis and Timothy Willis; and her sister Karen Willis.
She is survived by: her children, Claretta Simpson (Frederick Calhoun) of Royston, GA, Carlita Simpson of Seneca, SC, Frosty Willis, Dominque Braxton, Valencia Willis, Kenyana Braxton, Christopher Willis and Mario Cox; her siblings, Melinda Allen (William), Sharon Martin of Elberton, GA, Lois Rucker Ga of Bowman, GA and Stanley Willis (Barbara) of Canon, GA; and her caregiver Melissa Martin (Stacy Frost). She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors (333 E Johnson St, Hartwell, GA 30643).
