It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerone Carlton Denney (Hartwell, Georgia), who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Denney and Allene Bryant Denney; his son Kevin Denney; and his siblings, Madeline, Benney, Phillip (Marian Denney) and Eloise Smith (Michael Atkinson).
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ann O'Barr Denney of Hartwell; his son Daryl Denney (Natasha) of Hartwell; his sister Tonya Skelton (Ted) of Central, S. C.; and his grandchildren, Laura Ann Denney, Jaxon Wayne Denney, Nariah Fields and Taryn Fields.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coile and Hall Funeral Directors (333 E Johnson St, Hartwell, GA 30643). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
