He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Korte and Elizabeth Smallshaw Korte. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Korte (Inna) of Marysville, WA, Kerry Lynn Bishop (Kenny) of Buford, GA, Matthew Gholston (Kathryn) of Carthage, MO and Soloman Gholston (Angie) of Hartwell; and his sister Mary Jane Anderson of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (1009 Benson St, Hartwell, GA 30643). A reception will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 1009 Benson Street, Hartwell GA 30643.
