He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan P. McDade and Agnes Wynn McDade; his siblings, Peter Alexander McDade, Mary B. Tew and Buddy Belisle; and his brother-in-law Al "Bud" Lewis.

He is survived by: his spouse Fran McDade; his daughters, Misty McDade Tallent (Johnny) and April McDade Zubriski (Jacob); his sister Suzanne Lewis; his grandchildren, Michael Tallent, Timothy Tallent and Kylie Zubriski; and his great grandchildren, Gracie Tallent and Maxwell Tallent.
